The FlexStor-NAS 1200 is a high-availability NAS server that incorporates storage capacities of 432 GB to 3 TB with the latest NAS and SATA RAID technologies. It provides fault tolerant data storage in a 3U, 19-inch rackmount chassis with single or dual 2.4 GHz Xeon processors, hot-swappable drive trays, N + 1 redundant 650 W power supplies and an advanced cooling system. Twelve of its 14 hard drives are used for the RAID array, while the NAS OS is mirrored on two hot-swappable 36 GB, 10000 rpm WD Raptor SATA disk drives with hardware RAID 1 to maintain maximum uptime.
