iSCSI
DNFDefense's iSCSI Products utilize the IP Protocol to enable block level storage cost-effectively.
IPBank iSCSI Storage powered by DynamiX
DynamiX is an enterprise-class fully-featured management suite for iSCSI storage services. On this open platform, DynamiX delivers a wide array of enterprise class storage services to new or existing storage infrastructure. DynamiX’s network-based management paradigm off-loads and consolidates traditional, individual server-based storage management tasks such as backup, restore, volume management, mirroring, snapshot and replication from the application servers, resulting in further reduction of administrative overhead. All management functions are centralized, including diagnostics, reporting, and storage services, in a Java-based console.
DynamiX's enterprise-class storage services include Active-Active Failover, Synchronous Mirroring, Remote Replication, Backup Enabler, DynaPath® for dynamic multi-pathing and TimeMark for scheduled disk-based change-journaling and instant data recovery. With DynamiX’s migration capability, applications can immediately take advantage of network storage services to help protect data against hardware failures, software failures, and virus attacks.
With DynamiX, IPBank iSCSI products are scalable and flexible, offering seamless expansion, limitless options and a low TCO. This flexible storage services platform simplifies expansion by allowing modular configurations using iSCSI engines and external storage arrays, without incurring revolving licensing costs, or repeating initial investment costs with each expansion. The full-featured IPBank Appliances offer extensive options based on proven technologies, including advanced RAID levels, configurations designed for high-availability and performance, hot-swappable disks, upgradeable cache, redundant components, a range of storage options including serial ATA, SCSI and Fibre Channel, with software configurations supporting snapshots, replication, synchronous mirroring, NIC trunking and clustering.
Because iSCSI storage services are located on and activated from the iSCSI Appliance, the requirement for individual management of storage software for each server and storage device is eliminated, resulting in huge cost savings and ease of use.
